Yoweri Museveni has revealed that he, his wife Janet Museveni, and their daughter narrowly escaped a car accident while at their country ranch in Kisozi, located in Gomba District.
The Ugandan president shared that the incident happened a few days earlier while he was personally driving a Toyota Land Cruiser within the ranch premises. According to his account, the vehicle nearly got involved in a serious accident during the drive.
Museveni explained that he was travelling in the same car with First Lady Janet Museveni and their daughter when the frightening moment occurred. Fortunately, the situation was quickly brought under control and
no one in the vehicle was injured.
The president described the experience as a close call but reassured the public that all occupants of the car were safe. The incident happened within the family’s private ranch area in Kisozi, where Museveni often spends time overseeing farming activities and government work away from the capital.
Despite the scare, Museveni continued with his routine engagements, and the family members involved were reported to be in good condition after the incident.
